Man jailed for Watchman camera blast.
A man who blew up a Watchman camera because he feared he would lose his licence after he was snapped speeding has been jailed for four months.

Department of Transport recognises Watchman
The Department of Transport continues to support the Watchman Traffic Calming System through the Neighbourhood Road Safety Initiative. Bolton MBC is the latest authority to benefit from the scheme with a new Watchman Traffic Calming System due to be installed March/April 2006.
Bolton joins Manchester City Council who also benefited under the scheme with two Watchman Traffic Calming Systems, installed in February 2006 now fully operational providing traffic calming to two major roads in the City.
The DFT working with consultants WSP identified the Watchman Traffic Calming system as the ideal solution for reducing road traffic accident casualties in the Neighbourhood Safety Initiative areas.The Watchman Traffic Calming system has a proven track record in reducing road traffic accidents over a four year period in Tameside MBC. |

Success in Dublin
Watchman enjoyed a successful exhibition at the RDS in Dublin 8th and 9th March 2006. Great interest was shown in all the watchman products with visitors keen to learn more about the innovative approach of the Traffic Calming System and the flexibility of the Road View and Dual View product range.
